OUR HOMES

A Home That Feels Like Home

Each of our homes has been carefully designed to provide warmth, stability, and structure; a family-style setting where young people feel safe and supported.

Heath Brow

Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire

Heath Brow is our flagship home. A warm, welcoming space in the heart of Hemel Hempstead where young people aged 7-17 can find safety, build relationships, and grow. Set in a residential area with easy access to schools, parks, and local leisure facilities, Heath Brow is designed to feel like exactly what it is: a home. Not an institution. Not a facility. A home.

DAILY LIFE

A Day in the Life

Routine and predictability are the foundations of feeling safe. Here’s a snapshot of a typical day.
Morning
A calm start: Staff are there to help with getting up, personal care, and preparing for the day ahead.
Breakfast
A proper meal together: Breakfast is a daily ritual, a chance to connect, chat, and start the day with something good.
School
Learning & growing: We support every young person to attend school or education provision, with transport arranged where needed.
After School
Time to decompress: Snacks, chat, and a gentle transition from the school day. No rush.
Activities
Your time, your choice: Clubs, sports, hobbies, or just chilling at home. Young people choose how they spend their free time.
Dinner
Family style, always: A shared meal. Cooking together, eating together, talking together. This is at our heart.
Evening
Wind-down time: TV, games, creative activities. Each young person has their own evening routine.
Bedtime
Safe, settled, cared for: Night staff are always present. Young people know they are never alone.
