Registered Manager

The Young Care Hub is an innovative therapeutic care provider supporting children and young people in residential and edge of care settings. Through a unique evidence-based model grounded in an understanding of childhood development, trauma, and attachment, the Young Care Hub aims to support children and young people to live a higher quality of life and achieve better outcomes both in the moment and into adulthood. The our model blends social and clinical approaches to care and emphasises the importance of multi-disciplinary teams, where each individual is encouraged to bring their own unique skill set to meet the individual needs of the children and young people we support. We are currently searching for an OFSTED Registered Manager for our beautiful home located in Hemlington, Middlesborough. We are looking for candidates with a desire for growth and career progression, this is an exciting opportunity for an existing Deputy Manager or Registered Manager looking for a new challenge. If this sounds like you, our YCH team, including a Responsible Individual, Clinical Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses, Operational teams and more, will fully support you. Key Responsibilities: · Complete OFSTED registration (Performance bonus provided) · Ensure compliance with regulations, exceeding expectations. · Plan, develop, and oversee individual therapeutic care plans. · Foster a positive workplace culture, engaging in team dynamics. · Provide supervision, mentoring, and liaise with stakeholders for best interests. · Contribute to service development through collaboration with the senior clinical team. We are looking for applicants with the following: · NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent held or in progress. · OFSTED registration completion. · 3+ years of management experience in children’s residential care. · Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. · Knowledge of child protection, safeguarding, and therapeutic settings.
